At an Extraordinary meeting of the Town Council on the 14 January which was convened to consult with local residents regarding proposals by Oldham Council to replace the Big Lamp roundabout in Shaw with a four-way junction/traffic light system, Council agreed that (i) I write to the Leader of Oldham Council, Councillor Arooj Shah to express concerns about the proposal and to seek answers to a range of questions raised at the meeting and (ii) the letter was published on the Town Council website.
