Founded in 1891 – Crompton Cemetery is located just off Fraser Street (see map below) and is approx 13.90 acres.
The cemetery is maintained by Oldham council and is the final resting place of many of the past residents of Shaw & Crompton. It can be a very peaceful place to visit and remember loved ones.
A dog control order is in place within the cemetery gounds – so all dogs must be kept on leads at all times.
